The High-Risk Bankruptcy (HR/BK) Analyst is responsible for formulating and monitoring cost effective legal strategies to control delinquency, mitigate losses and sustain profitability. HR/BK Analysts work to obtain the best possible outcome for CNH Capital on customer accounts associated with bankruptcy, litigation, state mediation, and deceased customer account resolution. CNH Capital is a critical financing partner for the sale of CaseIH, Case Construction and New Holland equipment.
- Work independently to analyze and negotiate complex situations involving bankruptcy, state court litigation, state mediation and deceased customer accounts to control costs and minimize losses.
- Review each situation in depth including contracts, UCC’s, credit applications, statement of accounts, credit bureau reports, asset searches, equipment values and account notes to make educated decisions about settlements, effective strategies and the risks of initiating and/or continuing legal action.
- Work closely with the Legal Department to analyze and develop strategies for resolution for unique situations.
- Monitor select payments received to ensure appropriate application based on bankruptcy plans and legal settlements.
- Establish, monitor and maintain account reserves on accounts where a large losses are possible, and provide monthly updates on the status of these accounts.
- Actively participate in team meetings and project initiatives
The annual salary for this role is $48,000 – $70,400 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related discipline (Business Administration, Accounting or Finance) or 3+ years of related work experience.
- 2+ years of experience working through Advanced Collections, Bankruptcy Law, Legal Documentation or Estates.
- 2+ years of experience and working knowledge of relevant areas of the Uniform Commercial Code.
Preferred:
- Ability to use internet resources to review court docket information, customer information, and collateral values
- Ability to troubleshoot system issues, open tickets and work through resolutions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Sharepoint
- Welcomes constructive feedback and has a sincere desire to grow and develop
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
