Our Opportunity
This role you will see yourself as the subject matter expert, responsible for providing functional expertise on remuneration, rewards and reporting in line with the global compensation sidelines.
You will have the ability to capitalise on opportunities, provide remuneration guidance, evaluate job levels for new and updated roles, react quickly to the changing needs of the business, report on remuneration data, keep up to date on market trends, support key stakeholders and create remuneration and rewards concepts to ensure gratifying and successful engagement of all employees.
You will have demonstrated experience working with Performance systems, strong numeric skills and a high level of proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, pivot tables and data formulas.
Key to this role will be supporting the Annual Remuneration Review Cycle.
In this role, you will:
- Support key business growth and change initiatives including Mergers & Acquisitions, process and system improvements.
- Provide salary benchmarking, build salary bands based on existing job levels, roll out the STI program review and optimize the performance process cycle.
- Optimize the HR service delivery model and improve Workday functionality in Australia.
- Provide support on Enterprise Agreements, remuneration strategy and business growth opportunities.
- Lead policy positioning on current and future benefits, allowances and bonus plans.
- Prepare communication material and tools to facilitate employee engagement
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Degree in HR, business, commerce, psychology or related discipline preferred
- Extensive experience in HR operational leadership including processes, systems and operating models.
- Previous experience working in a global, matrix organisation
- Strong understanding of Remuneration and Benefit modelling
- Team leadership and coaching capabilities
- Workday experience (highly regarded)
- M&A and/or organisational restructure experience
