Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Adherence to Annual Operating Production Plan on Monthly basis and ensure Production, Productivity and Quality of Daily and Monthly Production Plan.
• Monitor plan to actual variance and drive corrective measures to increase accuracy of production plans.
• Driving implementation of various initiatives like 5S, 5T, Gemba Kaizen to improve total employee involvement.
• Readiness review for New Product Launches for Manufacturing
• Controlling consumables consumption cost as per budget by monthly analysis of expenses.
• Current Product Management. (CPM) Issue resolution
• Review of Quality Performance Shop wise like Line rejections, Final Product Quality, OKOL, DPU, ADPU.
• Rework analysis and monthly review of manufacturing quality for Continuous improvement.
• Addressing quality issue arising man & method related issues.
• Carrying out safety SMAT audits for identification and elimination of unsafe conditions and observing compliance to industrial safety norms

Experience Required

• Good knowledge of Fabrication processes like, MIG welding, Robotic welding.
• Planning and monitoring manufacturing operations working shifts.
• Resolving Quality related issues, rework/rejections by initiating “root cause analysis” and by analyzing data.
• IR & Conflict management: Maintaining discipline on shop floor by resolving issues at first instance and keeping vigil on happenings at shop floor. Should be diplomatic and Tactful in dealings with unionized workmen’s and unions.
• Carrying out shop audits for safety, for identification and elimination of unsafe conditions and observing compliance with industrial safety norms.
• Interactions with other Departments: Interacting with other departments, like plant Maintenance, Manufacturing engineering, Design & Purchase for resolving issues and initiating improvement initiatives.
• Experience required 3 to 6 year in similar field

Diploma Mechanical/ BE Mechanical
