Job Purpose

The Construction Equipment Technical Corner Specialist (Connected Solutions Developer) plays a pivotal enterprise-wide role in advancing CNH’s data-driven capabilities and operational excellence. As a key technical leader, this position drives the development of connected, insight‑generating solutions that inform decision‑making and performance improvements across the entire business. Working collaboratively with product engineering, quality, customer support, brand and parts marketing, aftermarket solutions, and other critical functions, this role transforms vehicle telematics and connected data into actionable intelligence. These insights directly support strategic goals such as reducing unplanned downtime, optimizing total cost of ownership, improving safety, accelerating service and repair efficiency, and strengthening overall customer experience. By integrating connected technologies into core business processes, the position helps shape the future of our products, services, and customer value proposition.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead connected solutions strategy and execution for assigned global Construction Equipment product lines, driving improvements in machine uptime, total cost of non‑quality, and dealer service efficiency.
• Act as the subject matter expert for connected data, demonstrating strong knowledge of available datasets, algorithm concepts, and insight development strategies.
• Ensure adherence to the CNH use case development process, including stakeholder reviews, business case validation, and solution verification prior to deployment.
• Safeguard data quality across all connected sources and oversee timely reporting of nonconformities identified in software systems, databases, vehicle electronics, or telemetry feeds.
• Drive robust data governance practices to maintain accuracy, consistency, and compliance with CNH standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all connected data requests and reporting needs within assigned product lines.
• Identify global opportunities to proactively reduce and prevent downtime through data trend analysis.
• Collaborate with Technical Publications to define and deliver diagnostic packages linked to connected triggers and machine insights.
• Continuously enhance connected solutions based on customer, dealer, and internal stakeholder feedback.
• Chair monthly cross‑functional reviews to align stakeholders and maximize the value of machine data for CNH, dealer partners, and end customers.
• Organize and lead recurring workshops with suppliers and other external partners to expand support capabilities and strengthen the connected ecosystem.

Experience Required

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three (3) years of technical experience in mobile or heavy industrial equipment; or a diploma with at least five (5) years of equivalent technical experience.
• Advanced PC proficiency, including strong competency with standard office applications; experience with data-querying coding languages (SQL, Python) and analytics platforms (Power BI) is a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated capability in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
• Experience managing projects and working within agile development methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in an additional language is a plus.
• High degree of self‑motivation, with the ability to manage pressure and handle sensitive or time‑critical tasks effectively. Strong teamwork, multitasking abilities, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in global environments.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving capability, with an aptitude for addressing complex challenges. Working knowledge of applied statistics and data interpretation methods.
• A customer‑first mindset with a strong commitment to delivering value to dealers and end users.
